Essay评分的核心维度
ALevel经济Essay的评分维度：知识展示（Knowledge）——展示对相关经济学概念和理论的理解。分析能力（Analysis）——用经济学理论分析经济现象，解释因果关系。评估能力（Evaluation）——讨论不同观点的优劣，考虑条件性和局限性。这是拉开差距的关键。
15分的Essay通常：知识有但不全面，分析有但不够深入，评估几乎没有或很浅。20分以上的Essay：知识全面且准确，分析有层次感，评估有深度。
高分Essay结构：引言-主体-结论
引言（2-3句话）：引入话题——简要说明你要讨论的经济学问题。定义关键术语——确保考官知道你对概念的理解是准确的。提出核心论点——明确你的立场，让考官知道你的Essay方向。
示例引言："The issue of minimum wage has been widely debated among economists. Minimum wage is a price floor set by the government above the equilibrium wage rate. This essay will argue that while minimum wage can increase income for low-skilled workers, its effectiveness depends on the elasticity of demand for labor and may lead to unemployment in certain circumstances."
主体（3-4段，每段一个分论点）：每段遵循"论点-解释-证据-评估"的结构。论点——段首句明确提出这个段落的分论点。解释——用经济学理论解释这个论点。证据——引用数据或实际案例支撑论点。评估——讨论这个论点的局限性或条件性。
示例主体段落："One argument in favor of minimum wage is that it increases the income of low-skilled workers, thereby reducing poverty. According to the theory of price floors, when the minimum wage is set above the equilibrium wage, workers who remain employed receive higher wages. 浅层评估："This policy has both advantages and disadvantages."（太泛，没有具体内容）深层评估："The effectiveness of this policy depends on several factors: the elasticity of demand for labor, the level at which the minimum wage is set relative to the equilibrium wage, and the availability of substitutes such as automation. In markets where demand is inelastic and the minimum wage is set moderately, the policy is likely to be effective. However, in markets with elastic demand or where the minimum wage is set too high, the policy may lead to significant unemployment."
评估的角度：时间维度——短期效果 vs 长期效果。利益相关者——对消费者、生产者、政府、社会的影响。条件性——在什么条件下政策有效？在什么条件下失效？替代方案——有没有更好的政策选择？
数据引用的技巧
引用数据能让你的Essay更有说服力。引用规范：来源可靠——使用官方数据（如World Bank、IMF、各国统计局）。数据具体——不要只说"unemployment is high"，要说"unemployment reached 8.5% in 2023"。数据相关——引用的数据必须和你讨论的观点直接相关。
